코리아발레스타즈는 2017년 전문 무용수들로 창단된 발레단으로 우리나라 무용수들의 국제경쟁력을 높이고
해외 유수 발레단과의 협업을 통해 대한민국 발레의 세계화를 도모하고 있다.

코리아발레스타즈는 몽골발레협회와 협업으로 2017년부터 2019년까지 몽골국립발레단 단원들을 초청하여 기량 향상을 위한 «파드되 워크숍»을 개최했으며,
2017년 12월에 몽골국립발레단 초청으로 몽골국립극장에서 «호두까기인형» 합공공연을 했다.
또한, 2018년 2월에는 ‘클래식과 모던발레의 만남’을 주제로 몽골국립발레단·코리아유스발레스타즈와 함께 포은아트홀에서 창단공연을 했다.

2021년 성암아트홀에서 제1회 정기공연을 개최하여 클래식과 컨템퍼러리 작품을 선보였고, 서울시 지원 ‘Locto Dance Project’에 참여하여 찾아가는 춤 서비스를 시행했다.
2022년에는 한국문화예술위원회에서 추진하는 ‘2022년 어린이·청소년을 위한 예술지원 사업’에 선정되어 창작 동화발레 «콩쥐팥쥐»를 준비하는 등
시민들에게 친근한 발레를 선사하고자 다방면으로 노력하고 있다.
2022년 제２회 정기공연에서는 독일 안무가 Benoît Favre와 독일에서 활동 중인 정연재가 코리아발레스타즈를 위해 특별안무했으며,
11월에는 클래식 전막 <호두까기인형>을 제작·공연하여 전문단체로서 위상을 갖추었다.

2023년 8월 한국문화예술위원회 예비예술인 발굴육성지원 사업에 국제발레아카데미협회와의 협업단체로 선정되어, <코리아발레스타즈 & 예비예술인 협업공연>으로 했으며,
9월에는 송파문화재단 초청으로 문화공연 기획 시리즈 VII <발레 갈라 콘서트>를,
11월에는 2회 <호두까기공연>을 성황리에 마쳤다.

그 외 교육사업으로는 2017년부터 시작한 파드되 워크숍을 11회째 개최하고 있으며,
2023년 12월에 홍콩 SJ 국제발레아카데미 학생들이 한국을 방문하여 <코리아발레스타즈 국제발레워크숍>을 개최한다.

Korea Ballet Stars(KBS) composed of professional ballet dancers was founded in 2017 and tries to make Korean ballet dancers have better competitiveness internationally
and is going to make Korea Ballet globalized by collaborating with many famous overseas ballet companies.

KBS held «Pas de deux workshop» for the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia dancers to improve skill from 2017 to 2019 in collaboration
with the Mongolian Ballet Association and was invited to do the joint performance «Nutcracker» in the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia, December 2017.

KBS did the inaugural performance with Mongolian National Ballet Company on the topic of «Classic meets Modern Ballet» in the Poeun Art Hall,
February 2018 and held the 1st annual concert showing classic and contemporary works in the Seongam Arts Hall, 2021.

KBS carried on the «Outreach Dance Service» by participating in «Locto Dance Project» supported by Seoul City Hall in 2021.

KBS was chosen for «2022 Art support project for children» promoted by Arts Council Korea(ARKO) and prepares
for creative fairytale ballet «KongJwi-PatJwi» to present citizen with more familiar ballet.

In 2022 the 2nd annual concert, German choreographer Benoit Favre and Jeong YeonJae working in Germany are going to make special choreography for KBS.
